Producing handsome, rugged footwear since 1905, Red Wing Heritage finds inspiration from various sources, including their own archives. Built for sunny days with nothing on the agenda, their Wacouta boots are influenced by the company’s moccasin-style Wabasha model from the mid-2000s.
The Red Wing Heritage Wacouta Boots are named after a township along the banks of the Mississippi River where a peaceful Red Wing family cabin has been sitting for three generations. The boots are constructed from oil-tanned leather made by the S.B. Foot Tanning Company, making them stain-, perspiration-, and water-resistant. They’re also made with Briar oil slick leather, brass eyelets, and ‘Vibram Honeywheat’ mini-lug outsoles for reliable traction no matter life’s journey takes you. You can slip into a pair now and upgrade your casual wear for $270.
