Aston Martin has seen a bolstered list of collaborative projects that have made waves within the automotive industry in recent years, but few meet the unbridled anticipation and general excitement revolving around 2017’s Valkyrie. After two long years, the road-faring specs for the upcoming hypercar have finally been released — and they’re nothing short of legendary.

As the name implies, the Valkyrie is quite similar to the Norse maidens who were chosen to help Odin during his most triumphant years — beautiful, omnipresent, poise-stricken, and ready to ferry the souls of slain hypercar contenders to the gates of Valhalla. The vehicle’s Cosworth 6.5-liter V12 engine produces a shocking 1,160 horsepower and 660 lb-ft of torque, which places it firmly within the realm of “insane four-wheeled transports,” while a Formula 1-inspired design principal and hybrid electric system make the street-legal hypercar a technological wonder. Red Bull Advanced Technologies, Cosworth, Remac, and Integral Powertrain Ltd. have each brought an immense amount of passion, polish, and expertise to the new Aston Martin — and while the immaculate vehicle might be just within your reach at $3,200,000, we’re sad to report that every single unit of the limited 150-example run has already been sold.
