It’s not often that Ferrari introduces a vehicle that’s primed to replace one of the manufacturer’s best-received offerings, but eventually, the time will come when a certain platform must be succeeded by an even more prestigious offering. The F8 Tributo is one such replacement — a beautifully imagined supercar that plays on Ferrari’s greatest strengths.

The F8 Tributo is a worthy successor to the 488 GTB, producing a monstrous 710-horsepower and 568 lb-ft of torque, bringing the vehicle to 62 miles per hour in just under 2.9 seconds — matching the prestigious Ferrari Pista in both acceleration and speed. At 2,932 pounds, that’s a significant achievement, especially considering the vehicle weighs roughly 111 pounds more than the Pista and 88 pounds less than the 488 GTB. Slanted radiators and an evolved Pista S-Duct bring a unique look to the front end of the supercar, while redesigned headlights and cooling ducts serve to keep the enlarged brake setup from overheating. On the interior, a minimalized steering wheel, additional buttons for hands-free device operation, and a new dash interface serve to round out the handsome vehicle.
