Introduced back in 2002, Cadillac’s CTS marked a new foray into modern automotive design for the long-time American brand. And while it definitely had a good run, it was time to let the old bird go. Thankfully, however, Cadillac has a worthy successor in their CT5 sedan.

To be officially unveiled at this year’s New York Auto Show, the Detroit-based brand has given the world a sneak peek into what this new model has to offer. That includes a 3.0-liter high-engine option borrowed from the CT6 that’s good for 404 horsepower, a Bose Performance Series sound system, and an Alpha platform foundation — the same one used in the Chevy Camaro. There’s not a ton of information yet revealed, though Cadillac has made a show of the available Premium Luxury trim which promises plenty of styling, comfort, and tech upgrades. Watch out for more when this new model is officially unveiled later this year.
