Todd Snyder and Timex have a rich history of creating bold, stylish, and attainable timepieces that evoke the past while adhering to this century’s exacting standards. Their latest Mid-Century collaboration breathes new life into a 1977 Timex original, updating an iconic classic with modern sophistication and 165 years of Timex craftsmanship.

While traveling in Europe, Snyder found his vintage inspiration on the wrist of a Timex employee who was wearing “the coolest old Timex with a day/date feature.” Snyder commandeered the timepiece and began working on what would become the Mid-Century watch. The 37mm wristwatch features a stainless steel case, domed acrylic crystal, date/day quartz movement, 30m of water resistance, and leather straps produced in Red Wing, Minnesota by S.B. Foot Tanning Co. Both the black dial with a black leather strap or the silver dial with a brown leather strap are available now for $158 through Todd Snyder.

Purchase: $158
