The last few years, we’ve seen an unprecedented number of hypercars emerge onto the market — and even more than never make it to production. And that trend doesn’t look to be tapering off anytime soon. But a new entry into the category, set for an unveiling at this year’s Geneva Auto Show, has already caught our eye. Allow us to introduce you to the Hispano Suiza Maguari HS1 GTC.

Made by Hispano Suiza Automobile Manufaktur AG of Zug, Switzerland (a revival of the brand that went defunct in 1968, not to be confused with the Barcelona-based car company of the same name), this absolutely stunning speed demon boasts a whopping 1,085 horsepower and 774 foot-pounds of torque. And it’s courtesy of none other than Lamborghini’s 5.2-liter V10 Huracan engine. The boost in power also comes from a pair of electric-compressed turbos, as well as a “supercharger of the 100-year-old ancestor.” The mid-engine monster also features a number of other engine upgrades (including special cylinder liners and sodium-filled valves), a carbon fiber body, a 0-62 time of 2.8 seconds, and a limited top speed of 236 MPH. To put it simply, this beauty is a beast.
