Airstream Bambi II Mobile Office By Edmonds + Lee

As the vast majority of us daydream about spending our days traveling, soaking up the sunshine and basking in crystal clear waters, it’s no secret that as we traverse our lives, the age-old adage of “all work and no play” has become excessively realized. That’s not the case for a Jeff Kleck, a technology entrepreneur who has finally obtained his ticket to freedom through a renovated Airstream Bambi II.

In his search for the perfect work/life balance, Kleck enlisted the help of San Francisco’s Edmonds + Lee Architects to build his dream camper, a 1964-65 Airstream Bambi II that’s been outfitted with everything you’d ever need for serious business endeavors while on-the-go. The 80-square-foot trailer houses a number of contemporary upgrades that make living and working on the road a pleasant experience. From storage compartments and sitting areas adorned in oak, all the way to a convertible bed, kitchen, and dining room that can be folded and stowed, the dwelling provides everything you need for a comfortable getaway. The Airstream has been upgraded with a number of modern amenities, including a gratuitous amount of self-sufficient power sources that come courtesy of solar and AGM, alongside cellular Wi-Fi connectivity that keeps you connected in the most remote areas of the world — perfect for the business-oriented individual who still wants to live a nomadic life.
