Quite a few automotive manufacturers have attempted to “future proof” their flagship models by giving them outstanding upgrade packages, exclusive amenities, and limited performance increases, but none have done it better than Toyota. After creating an even more reputable name for themselves with their off-road ready TRD line, the Japanese manufacturer has finally unveiled the newest vehicle to adorn the enviable badge — the 2020 Sequoia Pro.

Fox 2.5-inch off-road internal bypass and monotube shocks provide the new Sequoia TRD with a firm, responsive ride that adapts to whatever terrain the vehicle is negotiating. A front skid plate, aluminum running boards, rack storage, and an upgraded exhaust system give the SUV the guts you’ve come to expect from the company’s premium line. Black leather trim and a newly embroidered TRD Pro badge adorn the seats of the vehicle. As for performance figures, the Sequoia will boast the same 381 horsepower, DOHC 5.7-liter i-Force V8 that has become a mainstay of the TRD package, alongside a standard six-speed automatic transmission to keep all that power in check.
