BMW has spent the better part of the last few years meticulously upgrading its flagship line of vehicles, and thanks to the company’s annual unveil at this year’s Geneva International Motor Show, we’ve finally caught a glimpse of the brand’s future. Alongside several other vehicles slated for release from the German manufacturer, the new 745e Plug-In Hybrid sedan sits atop the throne as one of this year’s most anticipated releases.

The new 745e takes a bold step into the world of luxury, sporting an upgraded front end and an enlarged kidney grill that adds to the car’s aggressive new persona. The bonnet and apron of the car have been subtly restructured, covering a 394-horsepower hybrid engine capable of carrying the sedan from 0-62 miles per hour in under 5.1 seconds — accompanying an eco-friendly electronic system that boasts 30-35 miles of travel on a single charge. The vehicle is one of many new electronic hybrids that BMW is hoping will bolster the company’s road presence throughout 2019, which is estimated to reach around half-a-million luxury SUVs and cars by the end of the year.
