2017 Triumph Scrambler By Ben Giese

You probably don’t have to be an obsessive fanatic or an expert in design to build a custom motorcycle. But it certainly doesn’t hurt matters — as we learned from Ben Giese and his three-month pet project: a sinister, blacked-out 2017 Triumph Scrambler.

The creative director for META Magazine, it’s clear that Giese knows a thing or two about superb design, but even that didn’t prepare us for how stunning his personal custom motorcycle turned out. Made specifically to look good and perform well both on and off the road, the bike boasts some small changes that make a pretty huge difference. They include custom Race Tech G3-S rear shocks, upgraded front forks, larger wheels with Shinko SR244 dual sport tires, a new ‘Shotgun’ exhaust, and enough custom bits and parts that were removed entirely to give the bike a sleeker, more minimalist appearance. Giese says he’s not a professional bike builder, but this badass two-wheeler says otherwise.
