There’s no denying the significance of Aston Martin’s line of DB cars — both in regards to their own offerings and the greater automotive world. After all, James Bond has famously driven several. This particular offering isn’t a Bond car, per se, but it is a historically-significant and ultra-rare sport coupe that’s up for sale.

A 1970 Aston Martin DB6 Vantage Mk. 2, this vehicle is just one of 46 originally built (and documented by Aston Martin Lagonda Limited) with the AE Brico fuel injection system — though it had to be swapped for Weber carburetors somewhere down the line. The swap was actually beneficial in the long run, however, as it means the inline 6-cylinder engine is now good for 325 horsepower (a significant bump from the original 285). On top of its performance, this immaculately-restored coupe also has a remarkable exterior, beautifully-appointed cabin, and even comes with its original tool roll and instruction book. With 74,800 miles on the odometer, this rare British beauty can be yours for $557,000.

Purchase: $557,000
