Nike Classic Cortez Premium Shoes

Nike’s “Swoosh” is one of the most recognizable logos on the planet, adorning everything from street and athletic wear, all the way to water bottles and billboards. But when the fashion giant decided to remove the iconic symbol from one of the brand’s most popular shoes, the world took note.

Que the Classic Cortez Premium, the second-in-line “swoosh-less” iteration of Nike’s popular running shoe. Its genuine leather upper thrives with the omission of the company’s burdening logo on both sides, giving way to lateral siding that feels airy, free, and light. Alongside the muted black colorway, a white/red/blue variant has also been introduced, harkening back to Nike’s iconic colorways of old. If you’re one for brand recognition, don’t fret — the usual Nike symbolism can still be found on the tongue and heel tab of the shoe, along with the trademark “Swoosh,” which can be seen (under close observation) on the runner’s medial side.
