G-Shock’s latest addition to their flagship MR-G line-up is inspired by the Japanese “gravity pill” knife. Crafted from a combination of some of the most resilient metals on the planet, the limited edition G-Shock MR-G Jyuryokumaru, which means gravity, is a fine piece of work.

The watch’s bezel is made from Murasaki-gane metal and Cobarion, which is three times more durable than stainless steel. Contributing to the timepiece’s toughness, the titanium used on the back cover, case, and the clasp has been treated to be five times harder than regular titanium. And on the watch’s back are the Japanese characters for “gravity,” which were engraved by renowned Japanese bladesmith Teruhira Kamiyama. It also features the standard G-Shock specs, including 200-meter water-resistance, Bluetooth connectivity, GPS satellite signal reception, and ‘Tough Solar’ charging. You can expect this watch to hit select stores next month for $4,300.

Purchase: $4,300
