French custom moto outfit, FCR Original has long demonstrated one serious knack for customizing late-model Triumph donors, and rather than producing one-off builds, the Chauvigny-based shop routinely releases bespoke limited series projects that can then be made-to-order by customers, the latest of which is FCR’s “Urban Scrambler.”
Riding on top-shelf Ohlins suspension front and back, the build is based on Triumph’s already extremely-capable 2019 Scrambler 1200 XC. Custom touches to the 1.2L twin include blacked-out controls, custom hand-formed fenders front and aft, a custom leather saddle, custom headlight plates, FCR LED indicators with aluminum housing, and a bespoke high-mount dual-pipe desert racer-style exhaust set behind the stock heat-shield and number-plate, though the latter has received the a bespoke blue and silver livery that now also adorns the tank. FCR’s Urban Scrambler can also be ordered in the customer’s choice of color, and with a variety of factory add-ons from Triumph, and, best of all, the transformation doesn’t void the factory warranty. FCR is currently selling the silver and blue example in its Urban Scrambler series.
