Porsche’s 70th anniversary has been a birthday not lacking in pageantry. With a 100-foot tall Porsche sculpture at this year’s Goodwood Festival Of Speed, a beautiful coffee table book to commemorate seven decades of Porsche dominance, and a stunning watch that you can buy. But their latest (and biggest) creation made to celebrate their long tenure at the top is the 2019 Porsche 70th Anniversary 935 Race Car.

Porsche has a legendary racing history on the European circuit, and their 935 model is no stranger to the bronze, silver, or gold medals. It captured second place at the 1974 24 Hours of Le Mans Endurance Race, and in total, of the 370 races it participated in, the Porsche 935 — in its trademark “Moby Dick” livery — won 123. The iteration offered by Porsche for the company’s 70th anniversary comes with a few modern frills. Additions like new side mirrors drawn from the current 911 RSR, digital display, a steering wheel made from carbon fiber, and a powerful 3.8-litre six-cylinder twin-turbo engine bringing the track-ready vehicle up to speed for modern times. Only 77 units will be produced, so get in line.

Purchase: $800,000+
