Just when we thought Lamborghini couldn’t top their production line with anything more extreme than the Aventador S, they go ahead and release a limited edition Adventador SJV Coupe at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
Featuring an even more aggressive design and promising a downright heart-racing driving experience, the Adventador SVJ boasts a similar system to the Huracan Performante. Meaning, strategically hidden across the body are a series of power-operated flaps that create enough downforce to keep the speed demon on the asphalt when its naturally-aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine is fully engaged. And with upwards of 770 horsepower, 531 lb-ft of torque, and a four-wheel driving system this is a feature that will surely come in handy. Additionally, this supercar sprints from 0-62 mph in a matter of 2.8 seconds and boasts a top speed of 217 mph which help it set a new track record of 6:44.97 at Germany’s notorious Nürburgring-Nordschleife ring. Interested parties best get reservations in order soon as only 900 examples are slated for production with a price tag of $517,770. Deliveries are slated to being in early 2019.
