2019 Hennessey Ford Velociraptor Ranger
It was huge news to hear that Ford was finally bringing back their mid-size Ranger pickup truck. And while their stock version was plenty interesting, it took Hennessey Performance getting their hands on it to make us really excited. Behold the 2019 Ford VelociRaptor Ranger.
The Ranger was already a fairly-capable four-wheeler, but Hennessey managed to up the ante quite a bit. That started with the power plant, a 2.3L turbo EcoBoost engine that’s now good for 350 horsepower (up from 270). They’ve also retooled the engine software, equipped it with a high-flow air induction system, and slapped on a stainless steel cat-back exhaust. To make it more off-road-ready, they lifted it by four inches, strapped new all-terrain BF Goodrich tires onto 17″ alloy wheels, gave it bigger flared fenders, a bumper upgrade, a winch, and mounted the thing with LED lights (both on the front and atop the cabin). Hennessey only plans to make 500 of these bad boys at a price of $64,950 including the truck, so you’d better act quickly if you want one.
