2019 Hennessey Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye
Apparently, the most recent Hellcat Redeye didn’t have enough power for the guys over at Hennessey, so, in traditional fashion, they decided to turn the 2019 Dodge Challenger SRT into a behemoth of a car. With almost 400 more horsepower than the standard offering, Hennessey is once again laying claim to the throne of in-house tuning.
The Hellcat is more than just a beefed-up Challenger — it’s a 93-octane beast that sports a 6.2-liter V8 and a new 4.5-liter Supercharger, complete with NHRA legal roll cage, new headers, tuning, and even a parachute system. Alongside the 1,083 horsepower being produced by the engine, Hennessy has slapped on a new pully, upgrades to the original throttle body, and high-flow fuel injectors that should bring the monstrosity to around 1200 horsepower with 948 ft-lb of torque when tuned with their latest HPE1200 kit. We’re practically speechless.
