Ford Is Bringing A Series Of Trail-Ready Off-Road Ranger Pickups To SEMA
The market for bespoke automotive personalization is larger than ever, and when it comes to Ford’s capable Ranger platform, aftermarket companies have had a field-day customizing, modifying, and taking the truck to the next level. To celebrate the Ranger’s committed following, Ford has decided to unveil a handful of unique designs at this year’s SEMA event, giving light to a slew of off-road-ready machines.
The manufacturer’s exhibit will boast over 50 vehicles in total, making it the largest original equipment manufacturer display at the event. Among these, six new Ranger variants have been introduced, offering consumers a closer look at what an outfitted platform might look like. One model, a 2019 RTR Rambler Ford Ranger, bridges the gap between urban and off-road use, emphasizing a balance of street-ability, Overlanding, and trail capabilities. A SkyRise tent, integrated snowboard support capsule, and Fox tuned by Ford Performance off-road suspension leveling kit make it the quintessential exploration vehicle. The next, a 2019 Ford Ranger XLT built by Advanced Accessory Concepts, boasts an Icon 3.5-inch lift kit, a Warn Zeon Platinum 10-S winch, and a collection of customized AFN bumpers, skid plates, and rock sliders. The 2019 Hellwig Ford Ranger, which utilizes a 3.5-inch Icon suspension, bespoke sway bars, and a minimalist carbon footprint thanks to its Goal Zero solar power integration, provides the perfect sustainable platform for outdoor explorers. Finally, a 2019 Ford Performance Parts Ranger brings the company’s most capable products to the forefront, including a customized hood-hinge light kit, a Rigid 30-inch SR-Series Pro lightbar, and a 2-inch Ford Performance-tuned Fox off-road suspension leveling kit.
