In recent years upgraded factory performance and trim packages have become increasingly prevalent in the pickup segment, with manufacturers aiming to provide bolstered versions of their existing wares for their most discerning customers. Likewise, the aftermarket sector has also seen a marked influx of up-specced packages, one of the latest and most noteworthy of which is Tuscany Motor Co.’s new Chevrolet Silverado-based “Black Ops.”

Starting with a 2019 Silverado 1500, the Elkhart, Indiana-based outfit — which is a subsidiary of Fox Factory Holdings — has treated the pickup to a BDS Lift Kit paired with Heavy-Duty Performance shocks up front and Fox 2.0 units in back. Cosmetically, the truck features an induction-style hood, custom fender vents, skid plate, Tonneau cover, Black Ops badging, plate bumper with two-piece powder-coated grille, integrated 40” LED light bar, supplementary auxiliary grilled LEDs, and tow hooks. Now riding on a set of 20” Tuscany Black Ops rims shod in BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires, the 1500 also gets a custom-tuned stainless steel exhaust terminating in dual-merged satin black powder-coated tips. The interior boasts custom leather seats with embossed “Black Ops” branding and flag patches on the headrests, Black Ops logo-embroidered floor mats, carbon fiber trim kit, deep-tinted windows, and customized instrumentation with a bold stencil font and illuminated Black Ops branding. A portion of the proceeds from each unit sold will also benefit Wounded Veterans Organizations.
