2019 BMW Z4 Roadster
The day has finally come. After months of camouflaged and leaked photos teasing us on the prospect of the new Z series, BMW has unveiled the all-new Z4 at this year’s Concours d’Elegance at the Pebble Beach Golf Links in Monterey.
A roadster through and through, the open top two-seater features both classic and contemporary design principles with this new ride. These include vertically aligned headlights, a sleekly-designed BMW kidney grille, sports-car-like silhouette, large air breathers on the front wheel arches, and a driver-oriented cockpit for an enhanced behind-the-wheel experience. This is all in addition to the fiery 250 kW/ 340 horsepower straight six-cylinder engine, a sports suspension system, M Sport braking system, and electronically controlled M Sport differential in the rear axle transmission. Slated for a worldwide market launch in Spring 2019, we’ll wait and see how this roadster stands up to fellow rides atop the asphalt.
