2019 Bentley Bentayga Pikes Peak Edition

This year, Bentley Motors took on the legendary Pikes Peak hill climb, a daunting scramble up a mountain in Colorado Springs. Known as “the race to the clouds,” the Hill Climb is open to all motor sports teams from across the globe who want to make that journey, 4,720 feet skyward and 12.42 miles in total length. Bentley decided to take on that challenge – and it was a rousing success. Their lime-green Bentayga SUV finished the climb faster than any SUV in history. In celebration, Bentley Motors is releasing a 10-car production run of the 2019 Bentley Bentayga Pikes Peak Edition, an exact replication of the record-breaking car.

The Bentley Bentayga used 900 Nm of torque, smart all-wheel-drive system and air suspension systems – along with much more cutting edge tech – to claim victory in record-breaking fashion in Colorado. The production run celebrating the instant-legend – driven by Rhys Millen – will deploy 600 HP, generated by a six-liter twin turbo W12 engine that is paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Fittingly, the car will stay permanently in four-wheel-drive. No doubt, this will be an off-roader for the ages. Built with an identical carbon bodykit and the matching Radium Satin lime green (though you can also get it in Beluga black, if you prefer), little details that differ from the champion vehicle – such as the luxurious Alcantra seats and the Pikes Peak map motif on the dashboard – make this vehicle a beautiful tribute to Bentley’s triumph.
