Every model in the updated iMac line will now utilize an 8-core Intel 9th-generation processors for the very first time, as well as incredible Vega graphics options. The 21.5-inch iMac boasts 6-core processors for the first time, allowing it to perform 60% faster while the 27-inch iMac will be harboring up to 9th-generation 6-core and 8-core processors for 2.4 times faster performance. Another first is the Radeon Pro Vegas Graphics, which is perfect for professionals with graphics-heavy work like 3D content development, video editing, and game design. The new iMacs will also have 4K and 5K Retina displays with up to 14.7 million pixels and 1 billion colors for an image so sharp it will look like a printed page.
