While there are still quite a few early model Land Rovers out there, most of them are either kept under close watch in a private collection or they’re not in very good shape. This one, however — a 1965 Series IIA 109 — is in absolutely stunning condition and it’s for sale.

Of course, its impeccable appearance is no accident — it went through a full restoration in the late 1990s, including the addition of a new Zenith carburetor. Other than that, it’s remarkably original, with a 2.25L gas engine, four-speed transmission, and functional 2WD/4WD system. And while it’s impressive enough to find a retro SUV in rust-free condition, the price tag for this US-registered 85,000-mile beauty is equally enticing: $38,500. But you’d better act quickly, as we can’t imagine it will stay on the market for long.

Purchase: $38,500
