Mission Workshop has finally found the key to creating a leather bag that’s fashionable, durable, and adventurous to boot. Their newest offering retains the same rugged, long-lasting quality we’ve come to expect from the San Francisco brand, with incredible materials sure to pique your interest.

The Okta is made using 26L Ultrafine Kero Leather, an exceedingly tough but insanely smooth reindeer leather that’s as soft as the finest Italian leather, but far more durable. The free-roaming animals are harvested in their natural habitat by the Sami people native to Northern Sweden, then vegetable-tanned by the third-generation craftsman at the Kero Tannery near the Arctic Circle. The bag has been manufactured in very small quantities and features HT500 high-tenacity nylon, YKK Aquaguard zippers, and ultralight waterproof nylon lining — helping to define the durable but tasteful Weekender Duffle.

Purchase: $745
