Continuing with their limited releases from their Old Fashioned Copper (O.F.C.) Bourbon line, Buffalo Trace is blessing us with another vintage spirit sure to soothe your taste buds and comfort your soul. Their latest offering comes from the same year Jurassic Park brought dinosaurs back to life on the big screen, the Pentium Processor was invented, and the world wide web was just getting started. Buffalo Trace’s 1993 O.F.C. Vintage Bourbon Whiskey is 25 years in the making and it’s finally here to wet your whistle.
Buffalo Trace Distillery stored some of its bourbon for a quarter century to sleep in a deep slumber, allowing the spirits to mature. The result is a bourbon with flavors of dark cherry, honey, and smoked oak. You’ll be able to taste notes of caramel, toasted vanilla and cocoa once it hits your palette, with a mix of coffee, maple syrup, and oak linger afterward. The bourbon comes in a crystal bottle with inlaid genuine copper lettering and a wooden display box with a provenance card. You can try to get your hands on one of the limited edition bottles in December.
