BigRep NERA 3D-Printed E-Motorcycle

BigRep was one of the first companies to produce a working, 3D-printed airless bicycle tire for everyday use, and now, they’ve unveiled the next step in their impressive plan. The innovative company is pushing the envelope of additive manufacturing technology with their latest project, the NERA 3D-printed e-motorcycle.

The NERA is an ambitious machine that utilizes BigRep’s newest PRO FLEX TPU technology, a state-of-the-art thermoplastic polyurethane filament that’s entirely flexible and moldable. It’s an amalgamation of BigRep’s most recent breakthroughs, featuring airless tires, functional integration, and embedded sensor technology alongside the 3D-printed frame, forks, wheels, and seat. In fact, every part except for the electronics of this bike was manufactured using 3D printing. The futuristic design, along with an ambitious electric drive system and material composition, allows the NERA to stand out as one of the most innovative bikes we’ve ever seen.
