Back in 1957, Victorinox released their Pioneer knife — a novel take on the classic Soldier’s S.A.K. with a unique textured aluminum handle — a material known as Alox. Since then, Alox has become legendary in the everyday carry community for its durability, how lightweight it is, and its uniqueness in appearance and feel. Now, they’re giving the Alox treatment to one of their most popular EDC folders, the Hunter Pro M.

This beautiful take on the classic folding blade still retains its signature silhouette and much of what made the knife such a big hit in the first place — like a sub-4″ high carbon stainless steel blade, large thumbhole for one-handed deployment, and a sturdy back lock. But it also adds to it with the new silver Alox handle scales, as well as the inclusion of a lanyard hole — complete with a paracord attachment. The changes are seemingly small, but they elevate this hard-working knife into one that’s just a bit more interesting and elegant. Pricing is set at $100.

Purchase: $100
