Every day, we inch closer to being able to send humans to colonize Mars. Unfortunately, that reality is still quite a long time away. However, if you want to find out what it might be like to sleep under the Martian skies, you can try it out here on Earth, courtesy of Jordan’s Sun City Camp.

Found in the Wadi Rum valley outside of the city of Aqaba, this beautiful glamping hotel is comprised of a series of geodesic dome-style camping tents, complete with massive windows that open up each room to the red sands and cliffs outside. Of course, if you’re not fond of the dome structure or their seeming lack of privacy, there are also a number of Bedouin-style tents available to rent. Whatever amenities you choose, the resort also offers up day trips, with activities like a trip above the desert in a hot air balloon, a ride in a dune buggy, star gazing, rock climbing, and more. Reach out to Sun City Camp to find out rates and availability.
