Part of Mission Workshop’s Advanced Projects line, the Sans Microlight Rain Shell was designed and built without compromise. The ultralight 5.6-ounce rain shell feels like a real jacket, not some stripped-down shell you’d only want to use for inclement weather.

It’s built from 50 gsm three-layer fabric made in Japan exclusively for Mission Workshop that utilizes an ultra-high-performance Entrant microporous membrane to provide unrivaled breathability and waterproofing — a water column rating of 30,000 and MVTR of 30,000+ will get the job done in any storm. The comfort-stretch jacket features an adjustable hood with anatomic construction, a YKK waterproof zipper, laser-drilled underarm ventilation holes, fully taped seams, and a zippered chest pocket for convenient storage. One of the lightest waterproof jackets in the world, the Sans would be a perfectly stylish rain-stopper for cycling, hiking, climbing, trail running, travel, and city commuting.
