One look at this charming custom 1972 Honda SS50 bike by master woodworker Sébastien Valliergues (aka George Woodman) and you’ll be salivating from the pure eye candy of the design. Although he doesn’t take on many projects, Valliergues made this one visually pop like he was born to build bikes.

This custom build features a masterful use of beech wood to create the seat base, curving down into flat track-style side panels. There’s also a beautiful square wood front plate housing a pair of halogen headlights. The moped is rolling on 18-inch Michelin lightweight M45 tires capable of a little bit of off-road work. To give the bike a little more pop, the original 49cc air-cooled single was swapped out for a 190cc engine to bump the power to 22 hp for a lively ride. The suspension was swapped completely and now the bike’s packing new forks from British minibike specialist YCF and new gas shocks from Kepspeed. It also has a new electric start system, switchgear on the bars, and blinkers. This action-ready bike looks like an absolutely fun ride.
