When you listen to songs with the hustle and bustle of the city filtered out, you can really feel the spirit of the music, which is why the noise-canceling feature is so popular. With Bose directly in its crosshairs, Sony set out to make a pair of noise-canceling headphones to take the throne as the best on the market.

Sony’s new HD ‘Noise Canceling Processor QN1′ offers four times the performance of Sony’s previous model, allowing it to surpass the Bose QuietComfort 35 II in blocking out background noise. Sony’s wireless headphones deliver amazing sound quality with 32-bit audio signal processing and a combination of DAC with amplifier functionality. Powerful 1.57-inch drivers with Liquid Crystal Polymer diaphragms allow the headphones to handle heavy beats with ease and reproduce a wide range of frequencies up to 40 kHz. The headphones also have an enormous 30 hours of battery life, atmosphere pressure optimization, pressure-relieving earpads, and high-quality audio with ‘DSEE HX’ and ‘LDAC.’ It seems as though Sony’s Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones have snatched the crown from Bose. Sony’s new model will be available in September.

Purchase: $350
