If you recall, way back in 2016, it was Oculus that kickstarted the modern trend toward VR gaming with their Rift system. Since then, a bunch of other companies (including Sony and Google) have thrown their hat in the ring. Oculus, however, never gave up their seat at the top. And they don’t look ready to lose their crown anytime soon, as we’ve just gotten news of their brand new Quest all-in-one VR gaming system.

This system is of awe-inspiring importance, as it is the world’s first standalone wireless device designed specifically for VR gaming. That means no cables, no tracking cameras, no battery backpacks, no PC or laptop computer or smartphone — a headset and two controllers is literally all you need. The new go-anywhere system also features a 1600×1440 resolution per eye, built-in hi-fi audio, starting onboard storage of 64GB, and access to 50 games at launch — as well as the ability to watch Oculus’ upcoming Vader Immortal VR Star Wars miniseries. The whole package is priced at just $399.

Purchase: $399
