Once upon a time, MTM Special Ops watches were only marketed to elite military professionals like Navy SEALs, Army Rangers, Special Operations Forces, and S.W.A.T. Teams. Today, you can be combat ready with their mission-tested timepieces too. One of the latest watches from MTM Special Ops is their radiation-detecting RAD watch.

Built with a Geiger-Muller tube that detects and displays harmful ionizing radiation levels, you’ll be set for dark tourist adventures, such as a visit to Chernobyl. When the watch detects a preset radiation level, the alarm sounds off. You can even save the readings to your computer via the included USB connector. In addition to sniffing out harmful radiation, the timepiece has a quartz movement, tritium-gas filled hands that illuminate for a quarter century, and the timepiece is water-resistant up to 330 meters. The 46mm watch has a stout titanium case with a face that’s protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. There are only 1,500 pieces of this limited edition timepiece available in several colorways.

Purchase: $1,500+
