Luminox Deep Dive 1550 Carbon Watches

We don’t think Luminox needs any help when it comes to building sturdy and capable timepieces. But, if they were going to turn to anyone for input, it makes sense that they chose someone like Scott Cassell — an expert in counterterrorism and leading ocean researcher. It also makes sense that their partnership resulted in the creation of the Deep Dive 1550 series of watches.

Based on the 1520 series from last year, these new ruggedized timepieces get some notable upgrades — including a case built from a proprietary material called Carbonox, an innovative carbon compound that is both remarkably lightweight and durable. It also has a scratch-resistant and anti-reflective sapphire crystal, the brand’s signature tritium backlight for easy viewing even in low light situations, and a water resistance rating of 300 meters. Available in two colorways to start, these hardcore diver’s watches are priced at $690 a piece.
