The Bauhaus school officially lasted from 1919 to 1933 in the history books, but it has stayed relevant and influential in art and architecture for the last century without dwindling. German watchmaker NOMOS Glasshütte has created nine special edition watches, each a variation on the pieces from their Tangente collection in celebration of the Bauhaus movement’s 100th anniversary.

Nine special, colorful watches with the trademark Bauhaus typefaces that are present on every Tangente watch will be released by NOMOS, to honor the century-turn for the school of art that has influenced much of their watch designs. The watches will be released in three sizes — 33mm, 35mm, and 38mm — as well as the three primary colors, which were vital to Bauhaus’ minimalist palette. These awesome works of design will only be around for a short time. Only 100 pieces of this collection will be offered, so the clock is ticking on these beauties. [H/T: Hodinkee]
