Benchmade always stays sharp when it comes to the production of their ergonomic knives, pushing the bar higher with each model they make. Recently, they teamed up with former C.I.A. Officer Steve Tarani to forge two new blades for commercial and military pilots.

Both ‘AXIS’ lock tactical folder knives are built with steel grade CPM-S30V with a hardness rating of 58-60 units on the HRC scale. Our favorite of the two new models is the 737SBK Aileron knife that’s easy to grip thanks to the composite material G10 used on the handle. It’s also effortless to flip open with its anti-slip laser engraving and classic thumb hole for smooth action out in the field. The blade has a drop-point design with a beautiful black finish and serrated edge. Both the 737SBK and the basic 737 are available now.

Purchase: $250
