In 1987 at Volkswagen’s Ehra-Lessien test track, the RUF CTR was pitted against tough competition, including a Ferrari Testarossa and a Porsche 959. Despite going up against giants in the car world, the RUF CTR made a name for itself based on its impressive performance and striking yellow paint job, giving it the nickname ‘Yellow Bird.’

Number 10 of the 29 original CTR Yellow Birds, this ultimate supercar is too much of a treat to pass up. With only 32,436 miles on the odometer, this 1989 speed demon, which is essentially a modified Porsche 911, has never been restored or damaged in its life, so it has a lot left to give the open road. Packing 469hp, thanks to its twin-turbocharged flat-6 engine, this beast can hit 211 mph; however, Phil, Paul and Alois Ruf believe that it’s under-geared and can go even faster. You can try your luck at owning this beauty later this month.
