Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining is an iconic Horror masterpiece that never fails to astound and inspire. From Jack Nicholson’s staggering performance to Kubrick’s perfect orchestration of every scene, there is no denying the influence of this classic 80s film. Not to mention, it also has the most iconic carpet that has ever been put on celluloid. Thanks to Film and Furniture, you can own the rug from The Shining’s Overlook Hotel.

This officially licensed luxury rug is made especially for Film and Furniture by the sole license holder of the original 1960’s Hicks’ Hexagon carpet design, the legendary interior designer David Hicks. Made to order and hand tufted, this ply wool carpet measures 240cm x 170cm, and the iconic design is meticulously scaled to perfectly suit the size of the rug. Just like the carpet in The Shining, the rug eerily fuses red, brown and orange together; however, there are other custom colorways available. Although this will definitely put a dent on your wallet, it is worth every cent for true film lovers.

Purchase: $3,300
