Singer is the biggest name in Porsche custom builds. With over 30 builds, each incredible and with its own idiosyncrasies, they have showcased different shades of essentially the same vehicle – their canvas of choice, without exception, is a Porsche from between the years of 1989 to 1994. Their latest creation is a collaboration with Williams Advanced Engineering. The Singer x Williams Engineering Porsche 911 DLS is the culmination of Singer’s obsession with creating the ultimate, super-lightweight Porsche.

Making its debut at the 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed in West Sussex, England, the Singer x Williams collaborative effort is the last iteration in their series called Dynamic and Lightweighting Study, which sought to craft lithe and feathery Porsches. The original car was a 1990 Porsche that Singer and Williams unburdened of its heft, and installed a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat six engine, generating 500 horses. It has F1-inspired upper and lower injectors, and almost the entire exterior of the car is crafted from carbon fiber, as is the car’s interior. There will be 75 of these Porsches produced, and you had better get in line quick.
