For quite some time, whisky enthusiasts in the U.S. had to dig to get their hands on a bottle of Nikka’s From The Barrel Whisky, which is produced at Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries. First released in 1986, the Japanese whisky will finally be readily available in the U.S. all thanks to American importer Hotaling & Co.

Developed to deliver the richness of cask-strength whisky that a seasoned palette can taste, this blend of more than 100 different batches of malt and grain is full of flavor. For three to six months, the combination harmonizes in the barrel and then it’s bottled at 51.4% ABV, as the higher proof helps to perfectly blend the assortment of flavors. Next month, you can place an order for this square-bottled delight and discover what you’ve been missing out on.

Purchase: $65
