Back in 1917, Converse gave birth to the now classic Chuck Taylor All-Star shoes, serving as the original basketball footwear. For over a century, the quality of the shoe has been evolving, while continuing to be a staple in footwear fashion. Now, Converse is making these vintage kicks even better with Cordura fabric.

Cordura fabric is as durable as they come, boasting resistance to abrasions, tears and scuffs. It is a primary ingredient in plenty of high-performance gear and apparel, including backpacks, luggage, tactical wear and military equipment. Swapping out the canvas for Cordura fabric, the Chuck Taylor All-Star sneakers have never been tougher. In addition, the sturdy polyamide fabric will also make the shoes less susceptible to dirt, thanks to its surface texture. As a homage to Cordura fabric being used quite abundantly in the military, the All-Star kicks will come in black and camouflage colorways.
