With the last Dodge Demon being sold last week, the sun seemed to have set on Dodge’s hellishly haughty line of muscle cars, cars that were built like monsters, snarling and roaring as they burned down the highway. But thankfully, another demonic Dodge was announced to take the Demon’s place. Dodge broke the news today of the next firebrand to join its circle next year, the 2019 Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye.

As they say, when Dodge closes a door, they open a window (it’s Dodge, right?). The 2019 SRT Hellcat Redeye is the dastardly vehicle we expect from Dodge, built with tons of raw force. The specs are fearsome: 797 horsepower and 707 lb-ft of torque, delivering a 0-60 mph time of 3.4 seconds, and a top speed of 203 mph. Dodge had no qualms stating that the SRT Hellcat Redeye is bar-none the fastest Grand Touring car in production. The dual snorkel hood, snorting like an agitated bull, is inspired by 1970 Dart Swinger and the original 1971 Demon. Despite its dalliance with classic details, this vehicle hits scintillating speeds that are brand new in a production Dodge. Prices will start at $69,650.
