Though the Norton Manx is out of commission (has been for some time), Saroléa is carrying on its feline namesake with a new, electric feel. A race-based all electric street bike, Saroléa’s Manx7 represents a new wave of electric motorcycles with the speed and dynamism of the street racers of old.

With the Manx7, Saroléa has taken its marquee race bike, the SP7 electric superbike that the company raced in the TT Zero Motorcycle Race the last four years in a row, and stripped it down into a raw black, bestial thing. It’s not just elegant, somewhat brutalist design cues that make this electric bike so special, it’s also the performance. The Manx7 has a 50% front and 50% rear weight distribution for a perfectly balanced ride. It weighs just 478 pounds – due to the lightweight, hand-build carbon fibre monocoque chassis – and carries a 22kWh. Forget about the 0-60 speed – DC quick charge capabilities allow the Manx7 to go from 0 – 85% charge in just 25 minutes. Though electric, the Manx’s racing roots are still obvious. With a beautiful, futuristic cubic paint job and a top speed of 153 mph, the Manx7 from Saroléa is zooming into the future at a blistering pace.

Purchase: $50,000+
