We’ve awaited the arrival of the McLaren Senna in America for some time since the concept was revealed, but the most extreme road car that McLaren has ever built has finally made the flight from England to the North American content (and boy are its wheels tired). Take a look at the specially designated North American McLaren, the beautiful Emerald Green Senna.

Named for the legendary Brazilian F1 racer Ayrton Senna, who won three F1 Championships for McLaren in the ’80s and ’90s, the brand new 2018 Senna is a hypercar the likes of which we haven’t seen from McLaren. Forged from a Full Visual Carbon Fibre Body, which shows the beautiful carbon texture below the coat of paint in a custom emerald green tint called “Fux Green” – named for the buyer, Michael Fux, who custom-ordered the color – the McLaren Senna is lightweight at just 2,641lbs, and really powerful, with a 4.0L V8 that generates 789 hp and 590 lb-ft torque. With a 0-60mph time of 2.7 seconds and 0—124mph pace of 6.8 seconds, the McLaren Senna is a force to reckon with – and a car that Ayrton Senna would be proud to have carrying on his name.
