Italian car manufacturer Lancia’s first run ended in 1999. They mounted a comeback in 2008, but Lancia again couldn’t make it, and that run, too, ended in 2014. Typically, the boxy family vehicles aren’t collector’s items. But unlike this 1985 Lancia Delta S4 Stradale, most Lancia’s don’t have a supercharged engine capable of producing 500 HP.

With a ludicrous 1,759.3 cc four-cylinder engine that utilizes combined turbocharging and supercharging, this car is a souped-up rally car from the 1980s that is virtually unrecognizable as a Lancia Stradale. One of just 46 worldwide, the S4 engine launches this sub-2,000 pound rally car out of the gate. With a super/turbocharger system (AKA twincharger), reduces turbolag at low speeds. The Lancia Delta competed in the World Rally Championship in 1985 and 1986, until Group B was disbanded by FIA. With an unblemished exterior and a smooth, brown suede interior, this car is an impeccable artifact from the golden age of rally cars.
