Summertime is all about bumming out at the beach and catching some waves, but beach time is better spent in a comfy pair of boardies. The California company Taylor Stitch made a pair of board shorts from a recycled polyester-spandex blend that looks good both on the boardwalk and on a surfboard.

Similar to their camp shorts, these wave-ready, black and white zig-zag pattern board shorts are a product of superb craftsmanship. They have a 4-way stretch with DWR finish, so that you won’t be restricted one bit taking on those narrow tubes, as well as a single side zip pocket hidden in the rear to store cash for some delicious boardwalk grub. The custom designed print by Taylor Stitch Co-founder and Creative Director, Mikey Armenta, has a classic, retro vibe that fits any scene under the sun. Scoop up a pair and enjoy the surf.
