The quintessential “muscle bike,” Ducati’s Monster is widely revered as one of the greatest stock naked bikes ever to have been built. And that lauded motorcycle has hit a pretty nifty milestone. To celebrate, the brand is releasing a special edition, called the Ducati Monster 1200 25° Anniversario.

For 25 years, Ducati’s Monster range has been the pinnacle of naked performance bikes and they’re celebrating that accordingly with this super-limited release of just 500 units. What differentiates this edition from the others that have come out over the years starts with its exclusive Italian flag livery. But that’s not all that’s special. It’s also got lightweight gold-finished Marchesini forged rims, a specially embroidered logo on the seat, machined aluminum trappings, and carbon-fiber accents. The whole thing runs on a 144-horsepower 1198cc Testastretta L-twin engine and will be sold starting in November, here in the U.S.
