After two decades, BMW is bringing back its biggest, most powerful sedan to date. Following a 12th place finish with their race car at Le Mans Endurance Race, BMW has released a street car that we desire. Coming soon to an Autobahn near you – or just a plain old highway – the BMW 8 Series Coupe.

With a full name of BMW M850i xDrive, the launch model for the BMW 8 Series will come with some mighty upgrades. As one would suspect of a high octane BMW such as this, the thrust on the 8 Series Coupe is monstrous. With 523 hp BMW TwinPower Turbo V8 engine producing 553 lb-ft torque, this titan of a vehicle boasts a 0-60 mph speed of 3.6 seconds and a limited top speed of 155 mph. With an optional carbon fiber roof, you can take the top down on this baby – but be warned, you might give yourself whiplash. Officially the car with the highest-ranking status in the BMW family, the 8 series coupe is the definite patriarch of the BMW lineage.
