If you think you’re a fan of whiskey, but you’ve never heard of WhistlePig – well, you’re not really a whiskey fan at all. This brand is the number one most awarded rye maker in the entire spirits world. And with releases like their FarmStock Rye Crop No. 002, it’s not hard to see why.

Their second endeavor into terroir whiskey – meaning they control every aspect of its creation from the grain, to the distilling and bottle locations, even to the water used – no detail has gone unconsidered. In fact, in creating this batch (which was bottled in a barn at WhistlePig’s own farm, no less), they sourced the opinions of a whopping 500 whiskey experts to make sure they got everything just right. The result is a custom-barreled, 86 proof (43% ABV), fruity and spicy sipping whiskey that has to be tasted to be truly appreciated. Bottles are selling now for $73.

Purchase: $73
